I started doing design work in 2006 long before Responsive Web when our biggest nemesis was Internet Explorer 6.
Over the years, I've worked on numerous projects, ranging from extensive portals to mobile apps, and various web and TV interfaces. It is the most interesting and fulfilling journey.
From conducting usability tests for a major telecom provider to designing user flows for Dutch farmers and perfecting every pixel on a media project, every step brings its exciting challenge!
Styria Digital Development
Jul 2015 - Apr 2021 5 yrs 10 mos
My time at Styria was a period of significant growth. As a designer, I worked on various news portals and their corresponding apps for Styria Media Group. Even now, it is a special feeling to see people reading news portals I helped redesign, or bring to life.
Virtus Dizajn
Jun 2006 - Jul 2015 9 yrs 2 mos
Fresh out of a web design course, I began my journey at Virtus Dizajn as a web designer and frontend developer. Over the years my responsibilities grew and in my last year in Virtus, I was handling whole projects: clients, design, frontend, and a bit of backend (PHP). Still, I enjoyed design the most, as the IT landscape was changing it was finally possible to become UX/UI designer “only” :)
As a UX/UI designer I enjoy working on complex systems and over the years did work for projects in various industries. My experience includes media platforms, apps for e-commerce, wellness, telecom, streaming services, etc.
I've also had the opportunity to assist various startups, working on mobile apps, web-based platforms, and more recently, integrating design with AI-powered functionalities.
Since I don't often publish UX/UI work resulting only in a few case studies, if you would like more information about projects I worked on best would be to contact me.
During my time in Undabot I had a privilege to work with NovaTV on this excellent project. See the process behind the redesign of the popular Croatian news portal.
Enjoyed this redesign for the telecom provider A1 Slovenia, with the focus on user testing to redefine functionalities and deliver an enhanced user experience.
I love art because it offers me the chance to be creative with limitless possibilities. Currently, my artwork is focused on Slavic mythology. I enjoy exploring the wondrous world of it, but also I do my best to bring it closer to everyone with my work.
Started working on Yaga’s Hut to have one place where we can all enjoy Slavic mythology in a more artistic setting. It is still under construction, but I am always open to suggestions, stories, and inspiration and would love to hear your local folk tales.
Why Yaga’s Hut? Because of Baba Yaga’s chicken-legged hut! One of the common folktales I couldn’t stop revisioning ...
Diving into the wild and wicked world of
Slavic mythology trough artwork!
If you wish to see more of my work best would be to contact me via email or on Linkedin. Sometimes I post case studies on Dribbble so feel free to check that out as well.
Yaga’s Hut is my after-hours passion project, taking shape when my 9-to-5 and freelance commitments leave room to breathe. Its launch date, much like its fabled chicken legs, keeps running off into the distance … for now.
