Started doing design work in 2006 long before Responsive Web when our biggest nemesis was Internet Explorer 6.
Over the years, I have worked on numerous projects, ranging from designing small presentation websites to creating extensive portals like Dnevnik.hr. It has been an interesting and fulfilling journey.
The versatility of my job is what I love most. One day, I'm designing user flows for Dutch farmers, and the next, I'm revamping a customer care app for a large telecom provider. It's always an exciting challenge!
Styria Digital Development
Jul 2015 - Apr 2021 5 yrs 10 mos
My time at Styria was a period of significant growth. As a designer, I worked on developing and redesigning various news portals and their corresponding apps. Even now, it's a special feeling to see people reading news portals I contributed to.
Virtus dizajn
Jun 2006 - Jul 2015 9 yrs 2 mos
Freshly out of web design course started working for Virtus as a frontend developer and designer. Over the years my responsibilities grew and at my last year in Virtus I was handling whole projects: clients, design, frontend and backend (PHP). Still I enjoyed design the most, as the IT landscape was changing it was finally possible to become UX/UI designer “only” :)
As a UX/UI designer I enjoy working on complex systems and over the years did work for various projects. My experience includes media platforms such as Dnevnik.hr, 24sata, Večernji list, Poslovni dnevnik, Showbuzz etc. presentation websites, but also various apps like A1 and POQ.
Since I don't often publish UX/UI work resulting only in few case studies, if you would like more information about projects I worked on best would be to contact me.
During my time in Undabot I had a privillege to work with NovaTV on this excellent project. See the process behind the redesign of popular Croatian news portal.
I love art because it offers me the chance to be creative with limitless possibilities. Currently I do my work in digital medium and it is focused on Slavic mythology. I enjoy exploring wondrous world of it, but also I do my best to bring it closer to everyone with my work.
Started Yaga’s Hut to have one place where we can all enjoy Slavic mythology in more artistic setting. Always opened for suggestions, stories, inspiration and would love to hear your local folk tales.
Why Yaga’s Hut? Because of Baba Yaga’s chicken legged hut! One of the common folktales I couldn’t stop revisioning ...
Diving into the wild and wicked world of
Slavic mythology trough artwork!
If you wish to see more of my work best would be to contact me via email or on Linkedin. Sometimes I post case studies on Dribbble so feel free to check that out as well.
Yaga’s Hut is a place for my Slavic mythology artwork, if you want to see behind the scenes check out Instagram, usually there I post sketches and videos of work in progress in story format.
Commissions are closed, but suggestions are open if they involve Slavic mythology. Also if you have an interesting story to share with me about slavic myths, creatures or a local folk tale feel free to contact me I would love to hear about it.
